Located on the first floor of the cottage is the gorgeous open plan living area. This beautiful room truly captures the cottage’s character with original wood beams and a high vaulted ceiling. The lounge includes a large L-shaped sofa perfect for relaxing around the TV.
In the middle of the open plan living area is the dining table, which can comfortably seat up to six. The kitchen can be found at the top of the stairs and is equipped to a high standard with appliances including an electric oven with gas hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, and a coffee machine.
The first bedroom situated on the ground floor of the cottage is a lovely sized double room with views of the grounds. This bedroom double size bed and a free-standing wardrobe.
The second bedroom, also found on the ground floor, is a double room with views of the local countryside. This bedroom has a wood-framed double bed, chest of draws and a free-standing wardrobe.
The third bedroom in Cuckoo’s Nest is the bunk room. Featuring full-sized wood framed bunk beds, this lovely room is a firm favourite with children. This bedroom has a dressing table and free-standing wardrobe.
All three bedrooms share the ground floor family bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with a WC, a wash basin and a bath with a shower overhead.
To the right of the cottage is a private decking area, which enjoys wonderful views over the North Devon countryside. The decking is also home to Cuckoo's Nest's own private hot tub, as well as a selection of seating.

There are many reasons that make a holiday at Country Ways memorable, one of them is the excellent onsite facilities. At Country Ways you can sit back and relax with a cream tea, play a game of pool with the kids or just enjoy walking around the grounds. On certain evenings the Highland Bar is open for drinks and throughout the year different seasonal events are on offer, including bottle feeding the newborn lambs and pressing apples from the onsite orchard.
